Swallowtails Restaurant and Ivy Room

Swallowtails restaurant, which can seat up to 35, enjoys pleasant views over the garden from the dual aspect windows. The  a la carte  menu comprises of modern and traditional home cooked food with all dishes being prepared by our chefs. They always include fresh vegetables and all meats, game and poultry are generally reared and processed in Norfolk. All our meat is sourced from local butchers with seasonal vegetables from local sources. The selection of mouth watering home made desserts compliments your leisurely evening meal and after dinner you can retire to the comfort of the Ivy room or enjoy a night cap in the Rose Room bar. A three course restaurant meal including coffee and home made truffle is from £23.00.

Swallowtails Restaurant is open from 18.30 to 20.30 Monday to Saturday and on Sundays our traditional roast menu is available between 12noon and 2pm, and for reservations between 6.30pm and 7.15pm.

Booking in advance is advisable.

Ivy Room Bar Meals, Conservatory and Terrace

The newly refurbished Ivy Room provides a more informal dining area with a bar menu to suit. The south facing Terrace is ideal for summer use. Morning coffee, delicious home made cream teas, cakes  and afternoon teas are served daily between 10am and 4.15pm.

Home made hot and cold bar meals are served from Tuesday to Saturday 12noon to 2pm and Monday to Saturday 6.30pm to 8.30pm in the Ivy Room, Rose Room Bar or Terrace. A wide choice is available including sandwiches, light lunches and selections from the daily specials board and bar menu.
