The summer finds Mel and her team very busy with a record number of weddings at Broom Hall.  Andrew the gardener helped by Simon, Zoe and Angela are kept busy making sure the garden is kept looking lovely for those photo's taken of the newly weds and family and friends in all their finery!

Pauline, Sue, Linda and Alison are working flat out to keep Broom Hall shiny and clean. I think working in this current spate of lovely sunny hot weather has sent them all a little crazy, I dont no though, perhaps that is just their normal state of mind.  Happy but mad!

It was lovely to see two families in the garden of Broom Hall one day last week having a drink and some crisps.  The adults relaxing, the children having a quick mouthful of lemonade and crisps and then off they would go again to play.  I think the girls were busy pretending they were princesses and Broom Hall was their castle and the boys were knights on horses having a jousting tournamant!  What a shame we have to grow up and lose that wonderful world of imagination!

I just had a thought. With the Summer holidays almost here, an idea for mums.  Why not get together with some of your friends with their children, come up for some lunch on the terrace while the children have a great time playing in the gardens!

Front of House welcome Amy onto their staff, she is a very bubbly and cheerful person and will give you a warm and friendly greeting should you find her on duty when you come up to Broom Hall.

Well, afternoon tea is upon us and I think it is all hands to the pump as I think it is going to be a busy one so I  will sign off for now.  But really, dont forget to come and see us, for cream tea on the terrace, bar meal in the Ivy room or get all poshed up for Swallowtails restaurant.
